Module 2 – Assignment – Communication evolution

The improvement in communication tools and availability of service has made distance learning far more efficient in most markets. Communication, specifically internet connectivity, has evolved to the point where most students will have access to dependable service, sufficient speed, and an affordable price.

Available tools include better browser software, improved instant messaging programs, and the possibility of sharing and collaborating, in real time, at little or no additional cost. I agree with George Siemans observation when he states, “As learners become more comfortable with the medium, we will continue to see the growth of on line learning.”
